2. It appears Farmer's view is being misinterpreted
AFAIK, Farmer is claiming that the 9/11 Commission report is false because of a CYA agenda. He isn't claiming anything sinister took place but rather that incompetence and chain of command disconnect were worse than portrayed by the 9/11 Commission report. For example, NORAD officials lied because they didn't want to admit how badly they dropped the ball. Suffice to say this isn't in the realm of other theories like a NORAD stand down or intentional confusion by way of war games.
