Teen tries to sell sister on Craigslist
A Craigslist posting offering a 4-year-old Kansas girl to anybody willing to take her off the seller's hands has been found to be a joke.

But police are not laughing.

Wichita police spent much of Thursday investigating the posting after 911 dispatchers received a call about it from someone who saw it. Authorities contacted Craigslist, which immediately yanked the ad from the Web site.

It turned out that it was a 16-year-old girl who had placed the ad trying to sell her 4-year-old sister. Authorities say the ad was meant to be a joke and no charges are expected.

Police Lt. TK Bridges of Wichita's Missing and Exploited Children's Unit says they had as many as seven detectives working on the case, along with two forensic computer experts.

many times. (or even give them away) I guess in this day and age though the authorities would not find it to funny.

I guess this part wouldn't be to funny to either the police or tax payers though.

2. It's a good thing they didn't have Craigslist when my son
was younger. He would have sold his little sister gladly.

15. I tell my children that I will sell them for beer money ....
... sadly, they know that on the rare occasions I drink I most assuredly don't drink beer.

Threatening to sell them for "shoe" money just doesn't have the same ring to it.

By the way, my children know they are what truly matters to me.
