He's already on the record multiple times calling what the Bush adminsitration did criminal and war crimes. It would be a forgone conclusion and look like a political witch hunt.

Nope, has to be somebody completley above the fray in this.

a bunch of other shows many times with respect to this torture issue. Would that compromise him on being unbiased? I would love to see him appointed to this though....

11. I love Turley, but he's a professor! I think a special investigator should
have a background in criminal investigations, AN experience in constitutional law. I can't think of anyone to recommend, but I'm sure Holder etc. know some.
