WASHINGTON (AP) — With its party struggling to define itself, a group of prominent Republicans launched a listening tour Saturday in a bid to boost the GOP's sagging image and regroup for future elections.

Former presidential candidate Mitt Romney, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and House Minority Whip Eric Cantor, R-Va., held a town-hall style meeting at a pizza restaurant in the Democratic suburb of Arlington, Va., to hear about people's concerns on issues from the economy and health care to the rising costs of college tuition.

1. The problem for the GOP is

5. Defining Republicans
They could try defining themselves around a platform of individualism, personal responsibility and fiscal conservatism. Those ideas used to work for them. Being linked with social conservatives and neoconfederate wackos threw them off balance.
