GAY-WED OPPONENT RUDY SKIPS PALS' NUPS
By ROBERT KALFUS

Former Mayor Rudy Giuliani was a last-minute no-show at the wedding of his former roommates -- a gay couple -- yesterday.

It was a disappointment for Queens car dealer Howard Koeppel and his longtime lover, Mark Hsaio, who tied the knot in a double-ring ceremony before 10 guests in Westport, Conn.

The couple famously let the ex-mayor crash at their luxury $2.37 million three-bedroom Manhattan apartment while he was going through a nasty divorce with Donna Hanover in 2001. Later, Giuliani married the "other woman," Judith Nathan.

1. What is pathetic is that
he must think he still has a political future.

What a turd.

9. Thanks for pointing that out.
Thinking about it that way made me laugh. That said, I'd love it if the Republican base decided to give more money to the guy who spent $50 million to get one delegate.

2. Up there with Sonny Bono throwing Chastity under the bus to further his career...
...this is low and despicible, but what do you expect from slime like this?

4. Two snapshots in NY politics offering a very sharp contrast --
-- one of Rudy heart-of-a-thug Giuliani dissing gay friends' wedding

--and one of Gov. Paterson endorsing gay marriage for the entire state.

10. How did you manage to post from the Post without getting ragged on for posting from "THE RAG"?!1
Whenever I post from Page Six, I've had to use this Disclaimer:

THE PROBLEM WITH A DISCLAIMER is its coming off as defensive, especially when it's preemptive. Trouble is, it's damned if do/don't: NOT including it first results in the predictable problems.

DISCLAIMER re: linking to the NY Post (for to head-off highly predictable, OT/hijacking posts):: Yes, it is a RAG. Yes, it is owned by NewsCorp/Faux's MURDOCH. No, he doesn't Dictaphone content to his gossip columnists. No, "gossip" does NOT equate to "UNtruth" (OR with "triviality" for that matter). These old time gossipers are more journalistically reliable than Tweety and such ilk. Frequently, political tidbits are here first, later to show up in more "respectable" venues. Keep friends close, enemies closer. Cherrypicking intel results in self-fulfilling FALSENESS. I got hooked on these gossipers when they were on the
E!1 network and, when they were cancelled, tracked them down and they happened to be at THE RAG (NY Post). ALL I read at THE RAG are the gossip and the horoscope. On Edit: If this disclaimer is NOT ENOUGH, if you don't like this o.p., PLEASE just click OUT without leaving your any-further-a(doo-doo)!1
