Concerned Women Asking About Swine Flu Panic
I was just talking to Wendy Wright, the president of the conservative group Concerned Women for America, about the nomination of Gov. Kathleen Sebelius (D-Kans.) to run the Department of Health and Human Services. The group opposes the nomination, and Wright is raising some questions about the timing of the swine flu crackdown so close to tomorrow’s cloture vote.

“Some people think that declaring a state of emergency about the flu was a political thing to push the Sebelius nomination through,” said Wright. She pointed to news stories that ask whether the slow-walking of the Sebelius choice will hurt the response to the flu. “If there’s even a hint that (Department of Homeland Security) is manipulating the health situation to push a political appointee through, well, it almost defies imagination that they’d be willing to that.”

Wright said that she’d heard the speculation “on talk radio,” and wanted to be skeptical, but “there’s too much of a basis in that argument to easily dismiss it.” :eyes:

1. It's great when you can just make shit up
and journalists take you seriously. You can fucking say anything and still get a platform for it.

Ain't America Grand?

6. Not just the WHO, but the Rolling Stones, too
I've heard some rumblings about Dr. John, Dr. Teeth and Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show, too. But I can't say any more than that. :hide:

3. Right. Because EVERYONE in the entire world, including the WHO
wants to get Kathleen Sebelius nominated. How can people be so OPEN with their stupidity? She might as well walk out the door and give an interview with her underwear on the outside of her clothes.

4. Yes: Obama ordered an influenza pandemic to get his nominees confirmed
Wendy, since you like mass-murder conspiracy cases, let's change the topic to 9/11, alright?

5. Sure. That must be why Obama was so chummy with everyone at the Summit of the Americas conference
they must have been plotting to have all those people in Mexico die

9. They also created this flu in a lab in Area 51
and then infected pigs and humans with it in Mexico at just the right time for it to spread some to the US so that the Democrats could find a desperate way to push this nomination through (the Democratically controlled congress). What isn't known yet is whether or not recovered alien technology was used in creating this virus.

10. hehehe. Last night Michael Savage was pontificating
that the swine flu was an Al Queda attack on the USA vis a vis the 'vermin and filthy unwashed people' from Mexico who are 'running across the border by the millions' to gain 'gold standard free health care' and Al Queda is behind the whole thing, and Obama wont close off the borders.
