The virus will mutate at some point.

Scientists and educators can and should seize this opportunity to show the truth of evolutionary theory occurring in real time.

8. I do regular spyware/malware checks and virus scans, and I'm pretty sure the rare problems I have
are not coming from here

6. Actually, not.
Viruses do not reproduce, mutate and evolve. They only replicate erratically, picking up and dropping bits of RNA and DNA from whatever they encounter.
