About Dowd's mea culpa - could he believe that election fraud may be revealed soon?
With the Karl Rove, Susan Ralston and US attorney issues all pointing to dirty tricks, maybe Dowd is trying to get ahead of the revelation about 2004 election fraud - especially since Waxman sent the Bush/Cheney 2004 campaign a directive to preserve all emails.

We need an investigative reporter to sit down and have a nice long chat with Mr. Dowd.

Jonathan Landay, are you listening?

3. Perusing the threads, there are several of us thinking about election fraud at this
point. That's good, hopefully we're feeling it because it's palpable.

Let's stay on this track and bring it up in hopes that some bloggers with higher profiles pick up the question and get the left media to put up some pressure.

5. yes
I have felt very strongly about there was a rigged election in 2000 and 2004. Now we see how much they micromanage, there has got to be written documentation somewhere and the best bet is the blackberries.

2. I think it's just the typical republican idea about what one's obligations are....
... They most certainly don't believe in an obligation to fix the shit they break. They genuinely think that it suffices to say "my bad", and then leave.

4. Could be - but with Waxman directing Bush2004 to preserve emails, it could also be
more.

And the QUESTIONS do need people in the public raising them, just in case no reporter thinks of it.
