1. Way too prophetic for me. Either I saw it and forgot it, or never saw it
and its lesson would have been a good one for me to have learned.

I used to be a Walter. But since 2000, I haven't been one.

4. OK, I am confused
I thought that Maude was a spin off of All in the Family which started in 1971? So Maude was at, what, 1975?

5. Maude was indeed an Archie Bunker spinoff, but I don't know what year.
Bea Arthur was great. What a sense of timing, what a face.

7. So... when this story, on YouTube supposedly takes place in the 1968
elections, it is just a "flashback" I suppose.

6. Yes, Maude (72) was a spin off of 'All in the family' and 'good times' was a spin off of Maude
Florida was the maid who was the mother on 'good times'.

8. I liked her. She was outstanding.
I remember one scene in "All in the Family" where Maude was Edith's cousin and she stayed with the Bunkers for a few days because Edith was sick with the flu. Maude and Archie were always bumping heads, of course. I don't remember the details but Archie was probably complaining about something and Maude gave this look to Archie and said "I'd kill for that girl". She was talking about Edith. That just cracked me up.

She was the best.
