This is a Bush Administration in total denial .... and it will come back to haunt them

They have Orrin Hatch and Dan Bartlett out saying how honest Gonzales is, and what a 'good' man he is. Then Bush says Gonzales is 'honest.'

All in the face of obvious and provable lies.

The total denial of any kind of wrongdoing will result in their demise. Repubs just do not get it, and AMericans will hold them accountable. First in pubic opinion polls, then in failing to believe and support anything they say about the war in Iraq or anything else. Then the inevitable, they will be 'kicked out of office' either at the polls, or sooner if evidence of the crimes is clearly presented before then.

The greater the pride, the greater the fall. Seems applicable here.

defending liars makes you look like a liar. Not smart, is it? It's their twisted ideology, never critisize a fellow Repub, never admit a mistake.

If Republicans kept paying as much attention to a stock broker that was wrong ninty percent of the time as they do right wing pundits that are wrong ninty percent of the time they would not have nearly as much money as they do...why do they still claim any credibility??

If they owned up to their mistakes, they could replace people like Gonzales and go forward.

But they believe no one can stop them, and they will do whatever they want.
