Last week I was at a family dinner at a restaurant in OKC, with my BF and his sister, & BF's grown kids. BF &his sister's stepmom had died. She was over 90 years old.

Anyway, BF's sister is a ham radio operator, and I figure there are some right wing codgers that do ham radio, so that's where she got this misinforamation.
She said something about "All those illegal aliens who go to emergency rooms for care, and collect social security".

I immediately countered with, "Illegal aliens get fake SS numbers and pay BILLIONS into SS, but they never collect bennies. That's why SS is running a surplus".

She shut up.

1. I have had that same conversation with my stupid brother-in-law over and over.

At least now my sister says "She has explained this to you over and over again. You are dead wrong. Go to the basement and watch Fox News so you can learn more lies".

Its kind of fun to watch her smack him down after 45 years of allowing him to say stupid right wing stuff.
