Tony Snow, hero....Elizabeth Edwards greedy politico???

I'm sick of this hypocricy only a week or so apart. CNN's Reliable Sources (ha, they include a hack from politico.com) opens with a story about how heroic, nice, and effective Tony Snow was/is. They start the segment with all of these people on tv news taking a second out last week to say, "god bless tony".

Just two weeks ago, or so, the story was quite the opposite...Elizabeth Edwards, why she should just resign to sit home and wait to die instead of doing what she wants for her family and country.

Let's step back for a moment and think about who is more heroic.
1) the lying voice of the corrupt administration, and former Faux Noise anchor.
2) a woman who wants to see her husband try to help this country rise from the pitts.

I know that it has been said before, buthow is one a hero when the other is a greedy political power grabber?

2. You're missing the REAL point. The ASSHOLES are the ones who politicize

fucking CANCER, by ascribing qualities to people who have it.

It's what the neocons do. They get ya ta bickering about Edwards v. Snow, when the real shitheels are the ones who suggested those evil things about Mrs. Edwards in the FIRST place.

It isn't a contest. Cancer sucks, and the assholes who distinguish between D vs. R cancer should be struck by fucking lightning.

"Reliable Sources" which is pitched as a professional view of the journalistic practice is the last of the Sunday shows that I can watch. The tv is silenced once more. I guess I understand why some people just sit with their's on the weather channel all day so that they can listen to the muzak.

Surely they have an email address. Spend two minutes and call them the assholes they are. It will certainly make you feel a shred empowered, and they may actually take note of the matter in a subsequent broadcast.

Or maybe not, but at least you made your point known.

If I see something on TV that pisses me off, I bang off an email to their viewer services. More of us should do that. IMO.

8. Does Tony Snow's wife work? Is anyone demanding that she stop work to assist Tony?

I never got the impression that Elizabeth Edwards was getting the brunt of the rabid right's scorn for wanting to continue to work (helping on the campaign). It was John Edwards who was getting excoriated for continuing to work (his campaign) and not stopping to be with Elizabeth.

I found it really creepy that the rabid right felt that John Edwards should stop campaigning, and thereby dictate to his wife that she basically stop working. The rabid right never did want to touch the FACT that Elizabeth is calling the shots on how she spends her time during treatment.

So that beggars the real question: is Tony Snow's wife getting pressure to quit, just as John Edwards got real pressure to quit when Elizabeth got cancer? Is she stopping work? (even if her "work" is as a SAHM, does anyone think she should stop THAT work?)
