2. I did go to grad school,

got myself a nice fancy degree in clinical psych. Then I decided to go to law school because I was - I realize now - clinically insane.

But, seriously, I just wrote elsewhere on DU tonight that I suspect a very strong, perhaps definitive, streak of psychosexual aberrations in all this torture business. Remember the creep in "Silence Of The Lambs," and all the ritualizations that accompanied his crimes?

That's what these guys remind me of, starting with Cheney. (Chimpy Fucknuts has a nice streak of it himself, as evidenced by his childhood history of torturing small animals and enjoying it. But I suspect he was deliberately kept out of the loop on this one so as to protect "plausible deniability." Plus, he's stupid.) I think they're all manifestly maladjusted men with serious sexual deviation issues.

That's my theory ....................

3. I agree with you. Bush not only tortured animals, he shot his little brothers with BB guns.

He was about 16 and Neil about 8 at the time. He has all the characteristics of a serial killer. I have no doubt he personally watched tapes of the torture interrogations.

And I'm convinced Cheney's many heart attacks left him with depression and paranioa.

I'm SERIES111!!!! It's a compelling, fascinating read. You will not be able to put it down. Get a used copy and go at it. It'll expand on all the things we're discussing here. And I think Dr. Frank nails the little prick.

Consider the meds Cheney takes. Granted that he was a fuck before he got sick, but I know people who had complete personality changes just when they went on blood pressure medications, and they didn't turn into nicer people - they were awful, short-tempered and mean. I lost a few friends that way.

Cheney must be on gigantic cardiac medications, and who knows how they affect his perception and his judgment? Especially since, as I said, he was a fuck before all of this.............................
