Flashback: Pelosi & AIPAC to Kucinich: drop impeachment bid & you can keep your seat in Congress
We received a phone call today from a source in the Kucinich for President campaign, telling us theres more to the story of Rep. Kucinichs withdrawal than is publicly known. The source gave us permission to publish this, but without attribution. We can say the source is high up in the campaign. Most progressives are aware theres been a large flood of money feeding a campaign by Cleveland City Council democrat Joe Cimperman, who seeks to win the primary for Dennis Kucinichs seat in Ohios 10th congressional district, where Dennis has served the interests of working people for 6 consecutive terms since 1996. Heres the rest of the story, untold til now.

Before the Nevada primary, Dennis was visited by representatives of Nancy Pelosi and the American Israel Public Affairs Committee AIPAC. They told Dennis that if he would drop his campaigns to impeach Cheney and Bush, they would guarantee his re-election to the House of Representatives.

Kucinich threw them out of his office.

Dennis now faces the toughest election campaign of his entire tenure in congress, with huge amounts of money being spent to turn his constituents against him due to his neglect of his district while he ran for president. Citizens should legitmately ask where Cimpermans immense media warchest comes from.

Kucinich said this didn't happen, but he did stall impeachment and drop out of the presidential race to focus on the Congressional race.

This is why we cannot wait for another 'election' to remove corrupt Congressmen.

If they have done something illegal, they can be arrested!

5. What makes them think they can?
Well, probably the fact that they HAVE.

The US seems to have become an appendage of Israel.

7. Because they've done a deal with the military industrial complex...

Who also has a lot more financial clout controlling our elections.

If you look at what's behind the scenes with AIPAC and also ATC (the American Turkish Council), you'll find many of the same faces (Richard Perle, Brent Scowcroft, etc.) even though they represent very different states (religiously), but who are both heavily sucking off of the U.S.'s teat with military aid. It's all a big scam to help the military industrial complex keep their "quotas" of defense spending going in the guise of these lobbies... And note that many things that AIPAC wants (preparation for invasion of Iran, etc.), were things that if you polled Israel itself, the people wouldn't support. That's because it isn't necessarily in the state of Israel's interest, but those in power in the Israel state that also benefit from this spending on arms, and their control over them.

9. I didn't even notice it was locked
But it wasn't locked for being bullshit:

"This post violates DU rules since it is both anti-semitic and a smear on the Democratic party"

but I can find another link from a story outside of DU if you would like?

16. What a team - Pelosi and AIPAC ganging up on Kucinich.
AIPAC has way too much influence in our government. This little meeting with Kucinich is just so wrong on every level, my head is spinning.

It is sickening that Pelosi and Harmon would even cozy up to an organization that a couple of its top people were charged with espionage against the US but unfortunately they aren't the only ones to do so.

This story has been refuted by Kucinich and this could be read as anti-semitic and quite inflammatory.

Cheers,
