Warning to my favorite movie directors: You better be beautiful or else I'm going to rethink
Edited on Sat Apr-18-09 07:18 PM by Mike 03
whether or not I love your movies.

Stanley Kubrick
Martin Scorsese
David Fincher
David Lynch
Quentin Tarantino
Alfred Hitchcock

Especially you ladies, because I hold you to a higher standard. You make incredible movies, but how about your looks? You better look like Kate Moss or Jennifer Aniston, or else...

Kathryn Ann Bigelow
Lisa Cholodenko
Sophia Coppola
Allison Anders
Jane Campion
(the good but not great) Betty Thomas

Post the artists whose work you love unless you were to discover they are not attractive.

And we haven't even gotten to the writers yet...

1. (shrug) I never understood the deep-seated hatred of pretty people...
I can see ugly people just walking outside - for free. Why is it wrong to look at pretty people when I'm PAYING?

6. Nurse Ratchet

Tell me a pretty little fluffy thing would have made the impression this woman did. Louise Fletcher made everyone have nightmares.

Well, she's not ugly but damn she can look meaner than a lion staring right in your eyes just before attacking you.
