What's the latest on the astroturf tea bags?
I read that they are planning more tea bagging for July 4th, but haven't head anything new for April 15th.

Anyone know anything?

Will FOX break away for a police chase (missing white female, Captain Phillips homecoming, etc) if the crowds aren't as big as expected?

Have they coordinated with their own agents provocateur for media-ready "conflicts"???

What's the latest dirt?

1. Aw, who the hell cares?
I can imagine the local cops will arrest them for littering if they try to dump anything into the Rio Grande, an important water supply for both the Pueblos and farmers downstream.

Right wing idiots never think about things like that, of course, and getting arrested for littering will only convince them they're living under a Communist totalitarian state barely eleven weeks after Stupid is out of office.

4. "Arrests" and "counter protests" would bolster their belief that they are victims ...
... of various and sundry communist/socialist phantoms, etc.

2. Dunno but what is in those tea-bags? Is it toxic? And why do they allow people to throw
plastic bags into the water. I saw on tv some woman at one of those appearing to throw in a plastic bag after emptying tea or something into the water. Am really bothered by the anti-environment aspect of this more than the original stupidity of those participating. How many staples are they going to find in the fish after this?

5. They really don't care about the environment as long as they get good footage ...
... to promote their next event or to show what victims they are.

10. I know they don't care but I care. No one has even looked at this part of the issue.

6. I've been in an email "battle" with my nephew about these stupid things.
He sent me this link, which you can use to check out where events are planned.

You can choose your state on the right.

He thought I might want to go, or he was just trying to bug me....and so the email war began. lol
I've just about given up. I've tried to show him how these groups are linked to the very people he doesn't like, but he's not getting it. Oh, well...can't convince everyone, although Krugman's little piece today was quite satisfying as it said pretty much exactly as I'd been trying to teach the "lad" over the last few days. Don't know what happened to him. He went from a foaming *hater to a "proud conservative" in a matter of months. Very sad and disheartening, as he has some lovely qualities otherwise.

7. I'm starting to wonder about those *haters ...
... do they have just enough information to be wedded to the "conservative" ideology?

When will they have enough verifiable information and the skills to understand it to be good citizens?

Or, are they just looking for a fight?

9. Not just looking for a fight in his case, at least.
We used to have some really good discussions during the lying weasel regime. He really seemed to understand and agree with how dangerous and damaging the lying weasel et al policies were. I lost him (or he lost himself) just prior to the election. He suddenly became a get off my lawn, McInsane supporter, although he wouldn't admit it to me. I finally got him to admit that he voted for the crazy ol' man after the election. I just don't know what happened to him. I know his co-workers, suburban police officers, are very conservative, and he took a lot of razzing during the lying weasel years. He was definitely in the minority at work. So, their influence could be a part of it. Racism could be involved, though I'm loathe to believe it, and I have no evidence that he should harbor such unpleasant beliefs. Just don't know

11. He might have a bible thumper girlfriend
or maybe he's just trying to get your goat.

One good thing about the young, they tend to go through a lot of changes before they decide who they really are.
