Poll question: Are the Becks, Bachmans, Coulters, Malkins, etc., an open admission by repubs
That they believe a substantial percentage of "The Base" is mentally disturbed? How else would
you explain an endless barrage of wackism, if not to connect with the biggest audience segment?

1. Absolutely.. If fact. If you have a Republican Rep you should call them
ands tell them that they are responsible for Glenn Beck pretending to souse someone with gasoline to set fire to them..

I don't care how "Country Club" your local republican is.... this crap is his fault.

2. They thought they could hire admen and actors and manufacture reality
and it worked for over 20 years, from 1980 forward.

Then it all started to go terribly wrong when they rigged Stupid into office.

6. The Republican coalition is fracturing.
The theocrats were forced to accept fascist discipline - always on the attack, always on message, opposing any & all govt oversight - and the fascists were forced to pay lip service to "cultural" issues - anti-gay, anti-choice, anti-immigration. Anti-tax sediment has become a religious issue.

But since the total and absolute failure of the Bush Regime & its policies the power structure of the Republican party is changing. The leadership of the various factions is jockeying for position, at the same time as they're trying to hold the party together.

With Beck, Bachman, Coulter & Malkin - and O'Reilly and Hannity, too - out front people will stay away in droves.
