Did the Valarie Plame case every get finished. Rove's role?
the Plame case seemed to stop dead in its tracks when Libby was indicted and jailed. However, Fitzgerald did say that 'sand was being thrown in his eyes' What would happen if the sand was now washed out with the possibility of more information being released? Somehow there should be a part II. Comments?

3. Nothing ..........
That law, under which Fitzgerald managed to eke out an indictment of Irving Libby only because he caught him lying to the grand jury, is so badly drawn, it is, I honestly believe, impossible ever to convict anyone of violating it.

It was, by the way, drafted by Victoria Toensing, wife of Joe DiGenova. If you google those names, you'll understand the law's legislative history and why is sucks so badly.

The Wilsons' civil suit hit the wall when the court ruled that the defendants were operating within the realm of their government jobs, and thus were immune from civil liability.

So, it is over. The Wilsons left the DC area a couple of years ago, moving, I think, to New Mexico....................
