And that big wigs on the right are stumbling all over themselves for a chance to speak at these protests. When we protested the Iraq War, there was pretty much dead silence on the airwaves other than a few mentions that were not very favorable.

We were all but ignored when we wrote and called our Democratic Representatives in Congress, begging them not to vote for IWR, never mind that most of them wanted nothing to do with our peace rallies. I guess ensuring we don't tax the rich is far more important to the powers-that-be in this country than the lives of millions of Iraqi citizens. It makes me incredibly sad.

Big Media ignored them. But a few right-wing crackpots get endless attention.

I am hoping I live long enough to see Big Media burned to the ground.

Edit: Right-wing kooks get more than their share of attention on DU too. Amazing how thorough the brainwashing is.

5. Until the Fairness Doctrine is reinstated we can expect no different
Big media is owned by people with an agenda, and there's nothing to stop them from pushing it.

3. I Was Thinking the Same Thing
Last night while watching tv, I kept asking myself how are these people getting so much coverage when the big things we did never were talked about before hand and very little was talked about afterwards. I guess we don't own enough media.

6. Please do not light dismiss: The "struggle is on between
Use of Government for good and the Smaller Government the better."

How many really rich people are out there physically on the streets.
Are these not the ones who are being put upon by repealing the Bush
taxcuts??

How many of those on the streets probably are scheduled for the Obama
tax cut????

I must give the Righties credit. They know exactly how to stir the
emotions then the perfect time to pounce? This thing started as
outrage over bailouts. The Right Wing Pundits and Congressmen have
conveniently turned it into outrage against taxes. Who is marching??
The Rich People I know are not likely to be caught marching in the
streets. Is not mob psychology great for the GOP???

7. I honestly don't get this whole thing
Do the rightwingnuts actually know what "teabagging" is? Is it intentional that they adopt this sort of homoerotic image for their protests? Is it coincidence that most "Teabaggers" are also "Minutemen", or is there some significance to that?

And do they even have a coherent target for their ire, or are they just complaining about the general state of things (after their dude spent the last 8 years getting us here)?

11. It's funny because faux is complaining that noone else is covering it
Which sort of means it's something that exists only in Faux news world and not the general MSM.
