Dingle drags both feet when it comes to Gov. enforced gas mileage improvement for the auto makers much like Bush. The quickest and most practical way to becoming less dependant on foreign oil is to force these standards. Then US cars might even be able to compete at home.

was gerrymandered (she was in Ann Arbor) - so she had to run against him, and she lost. At the time, Paul Begala said on Crossfire that he was supporting Dingell and people should vote for him because he had more clout (which was true). But she was more liberal than he is.
