State Lawmaker Arrested

A Bismarck state lawmaker is accused of assaulting his wife over the weekend. Police say Representative Dave Weiler is charged with misdemeanor simple assault.

He`s accused of pushing his wife Nicole to the ground at least twice late Friday night in the driveway of the couple`s home.

Bismarck Police Lt. Randy Ziegler says Nicole Weiler struck her head and suffered a bruised left cheekbone, a bruised right bicep, a scrape on her right hand and a gash on her right ankle.

A "private matter" is when I have to run to the store for some Gold Bond powder. This is by no means private. Let the trial begin.

Some will say, "It was only a shove." When you're pushing someone to the ground with the intent that the fall is going to cause injury, that's more than just a shove.

3. Weiler's wife struck her head?
Brings back the unfortunate recent events regarding Natasha Richardson.

I guess Weiler should be thankful his wife wasn't seriously injured in her fall. What a creep. She should dump his sorry ass, these things never go away without help, they just get worse. :(
