What happened that caused INSURANCE COMPANIES to dictate how long I will live and how well I will live?

What happened that caused INSURANCE COMPANIES to be able to dictate how many minutes my doctor spends with me?

What happened that caused my well being, my health, AND MY VERY LIFE to be dependent upon whether I have a job or not?

Why is it possible for a person to have worked hard their entire life, perhaps even to have saved a few hundred thousand dollars...and then lose their job, get a devastating illness, and be completely and totally financially devastated?

What happened that caused millions of jobs belonging to MY fellow workers to be shipped overseas?

WHY DOES A PERSON WITH DEBILITATING PAIN WHO MAY BE ON THE VERGE OF SUICIDE HAVE TO WAIT FOR WEEKS TO GET AN MRI WHILE ARGUING WITH AN INSURANCE COMPANY?

WHY IS A MEMBER OF "THE LAND OF THE FREE" UNABLE TO GET A DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE PERFORMED BECAUSE HE OR SHE HAS NO MEDICAL INSURANCE?

WHY DO PEOPLE IN "THE GREATEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD" DIE BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO MEDICAL INSURANCE?

Why does a normal individual in this country need an ASSAULT RIFLE?

Why do people in this country buy the 9/11 bullshit?

If the huge profits were taxed, then the bailouts would be paid for. If easy money was made hard to get, then big problems would have been averted. Is the country counting on hitting the big time and that is the reason to not raise taxes.

They represent corporate interests. Kucinich and a few more are exceptions to this rule. I read a post here a while back with a great suggestion--make members of Congress wear suits like they do for NASCAR races, with logos of their corporate sponsors sewed to them--the bigger the logo, the bigger bucks have been funneled to that elected official.

Oh, and I'd add to your list--why is it that people undergoing chemo, people ill and in great pain, people going blind from glaucoma risk fines and imprisonment from growing and using a plant that can help them?
