A lady who was checking me out at the convenience store just told me Obama

and that "UK" guy are going to get rid of the dollar and make everyone use a world "dollar". I asked her to repeat herself. I then told her that was a rumor and that it was absolutely not true. She and everyone behind me gave me the nastiest looks.

Who is out there spreading this crap? What can we as a country do to make our citizens more informed?

I am on several of their email lists because I know lots of them in various anti-war groups. They have been gearing up for weeks and are in a hate Obama mode.

The emails I have received just this week claim Obama is

* a war criminal for accelerating the war in Afghanistan

* stealing all of our money

* pushing the Real ID

* removing the guards at the Mexican border

* backing away from supporting EFCA

Delusional. Also hopeless to talk any sense into them. I read their emails, laugh and then hit 'delete'.
