4. Good grief! He didn't do anything of the kind.
He said he didn't thing legalizing pot was a good way to resolve the economic crisis. That's all. He didn't call anyone out and I sincerely doubt the issue had his attention 10 minutes later.

I happen to disagree with him on this. I think pot should be legal and I think it would help solve several problems. But fercryinoutloud, making up bullshit isn't the way to go about it. Tell the truth and move on from there.

5. If anyone thinks
the first black president is going to have anything to do with legalizing weed then you folks have been smoking better shit than I can get. With all that is currently on his plate there is no chance he is going to further jeopardize his presidency or a chance at re-election on something as trivial as weed. The conservative(racist) section of our society would be on that like a tan. He will not willfully offer himself into the stereotyping that would follow such a stance.

The conservos already think all black people do is sit at home, smoke pot and then go commit all the crimes in america. Hell look at any newscast and all you see is black folks committing crimes. ARE YOU FREAKIN KIDDING ME! You mean to tell me there is no one else of any other color out there terrorizing the nation!? YA'RIGHT!

Ummm.....hello america, I'm here to tell you the white banksters of wall street have robbed us blind and guess what? No charges have yet to be filed or even considered. Oh and our so called news teams across the land will not even call them criminals.

So wake up folks and recognize obama is not going to give this issue more than a passing glance right now. IF, IF, he is elected for a second term and IF we are sailing along a little smoother then MAYBE he'll give it a proper looksee. But right now he is not even going to touch it as it would hinder most of what he is already trying to do. This is not a fight he needs or wants at this point in time and those of us who partake should be smart enough to realize that. We can all get our weed when we need it we just take the chance of running afoul of ignorant laws. Grin and bear it til things get better is all I can say.

And if things don't get better well....there will be no reason to legalize weed then will there since we'll be in a world of shit which no amount of legal weed will be able to fix.

6. Weed is not trivial!
You wouldn't think it was trivial if you were given a lengthy prison term for taking advantage of this amazing plant, or if you had a medical condition that could be improved, but you are denied access due to a bunch of lying assholes.

It is one of the most useful plants known to man, yet we aren't allowed to use it.

Not trivial at all! :hippie:

8. Way past the time actually..
Like I said, if you were locked up etc. etc. etc...

I'm getting sick of this dumbass theory that we can only focus on one thing at a time. Obama is showing cowardice on this issue, and I don't think it would hurt him politically because legalization is long overdue, and damn near everyone knows it.

We'll just have to disagree. :smoke:

10. You're right then.
I will respectfully disagree. I have a vested interest in seeing weed legal but at this moment in time I can see there are more important issues to tackle. I can also see how the other side would run to the ends of the earth with something like this. Why give them the opportunity.

It's better to wait til some of the catastrophe bushco left behind gets cleaned up and hopefully afterward anything the republicans have to say will go right on ignore. Then obama can look at the issue and do what needs to be done. Until then I for one am willing to wait it out.

11. The other side is throwing everything at Obama already..
Fuck 'em! I'm weary of being held hostage by these regressive fucking goobers.

Obama admitted to drug use, and he even inhaled. He still got elected.

I think he would gain points by doing the logical thing, and ignoring the political ramifications. He's already been labeled a traitor, a socialist, a communist, a dictator, a tyrant, and on and on, by the repukes. Fuck 'em!

The time is now! :)

12. Hehe....
I don't want to argue with you web. But we just won't agree right now on all points. But then again that is what is great about america, we don't have to always agree on everything. ;)

You have a good night man and keep the faith. :)
