I mean, everyone overseas will do it better and cheaper too! I mean, does Microsoft need Steve Ballmer to run it for his massive salary?

Or the lovely folks at AIG?

1. If globalization is so great, WHY aren't the countries benefitting from it
helping to bail out those companies that have crashed the financial sector? I guess they just expect the jobs and the money -- the brunt of the fix will be covered by American citizens thrown out of work by globalization.

3. If single-payer national health care is so great (and it is), how come those in the insurance
industry aren't willing to give their jobs up first?

Speaking for myself (education field), there are few public policies for which I'm willing to give up my job and livelihood. I'm much more likely to oppose charter schools and vouchers, since they do endanger my livelihood.
