Dow up, Freepers "frustrated"
The Limbaugh "failure" meme isn't working.

1. WIll they just Hari Kari themselves already?
I mean. No one will miss them. They've been proven wrong but instead of honing up to it they insist on beating the already pulpified remains of the horse they themselves killed.

6. Nah, Seppuku is too painless
I'd like to see the Bush voters and Robber Baron enablers end up with hot irons up their collective arses

Oh, and we could take real good care of Rush's cyst with one of those

8. Seppuku is only painles if you use a kaishakunin to perform a dakikubi.
Now, if one can't get the tanto out after performing the cuts... There's some serious pain there.

12. Why can't we just give them Utah and be done with it

We could give them Wyoming too - don't really care which state we give them just let them have their Jesus Land and be done with it.

15. All the guns and churches they want. And we won't tax them at all.
Edited on Mon Mar-16-09 11:50 AM by YOY
Just put up a big old fence and let them celebrate their complete lack of taxation at its finest! And no gubmint intervention what-so-ever!

Remember to take any nukes out though before they get in though.

17. We'll get rid of the border fence and put it around Utah
cause I know I don't want them back.

18. Naw...let's just skip it alltogether.
We all know those fences don't keep anything out nor in but it does help housewives in Republican Kansas sleep better at nights.

2. Maybe we could help them out...
by reminding them that what the DOW does on any given day is a lousy measure of the success or failure of anything.

But that would make their heads explode.

14. Well they have the same problem with global warming.
They think a cold snap disproves it. Same incapacity for logic/reason.

3. Predicting the Dow based on a few days of trading is like predicting global warming based on today's
weather.

They will both change suddenly and unpredictably.

5. Betting on failure was always a losing position
And quite dumb. I'm not suggesting that we're out of the woods yet, but it's a losing position.

16. OxyRush's 'failure meme' is having just about the same degree of success as his 'Operation Chaos'

These people are just ludicrous beyond description.

20. If anything I think Operation Chaos helped Obama to win the election
By having a long, drawn-out primary resulted in 2 very positive things:

1. It kept both Obama and Clinton in the news. Obama still had some limited name recognition when he started the race but by the time the convention came around we all knew him well

2. And speaking of knowing him well - we knew all the dirt way before the general election. Team Clinton made sure they dug up all the dirt (and Team Obama did the same for her). So what was left other than used leftovers of 'scandals' from the primaries. We were bored with them by the time McCain and 'Palin Around' Palin started using them.

21. Speak for yourself - I've made a whole whopping $10 today
I bought 40 shares of Citibank today. At $2.17 a share I figured there was much further down it could go. And although I'm not financially 'well-to-do', I didn't invest any more than I could afford to lose (and even then I really don't want to lose it).

It's been fun watching it.

22. When the market falls it's all Obama's fault, when it goes up it can't possibly be any bodies
doing except bush, of course. How is it that when 9-11 happened it wasn't bush's fault because he was still new to the job, but the market drop is all Obama, all the time?
