1. I figured last night that he and Rachel would have a gag order against mentioning it. nt

5. This will be Big News in a few days and Keith and Rachel's silence
is screaming corporate control on the news.

I don't think Rachel will say anything either.

3. If you have it, will be at the bottom
and sorry. It is a story, but there are way too many balls in the air

And i would expect Rachel to go there far more

They seem to have split duties on the holy mackerel stories

4. Neither he nor Maddow will do this story
The Couric woman gave it a serious minute or three, however.

6. Cramer is a nobody.
Keith hasn't mentioned him, because why should he?

Cramer is a nobody who doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground.

8. He can only go so far.
I wish he would says something, but as has been said already, he wants to keep his job!

Oh, well CNN's web site has it up, and there are links all over the web, plus I heard ABC and CBS had something on it tonight. It was great, and it isn't going to die just because MSNBC won't let their people talk about it!

. . .he is a non factor anymore.

Really, if it's a corporate order I'm going to have to re-de-idealize the last idealizable press. Crap.

21. NBC honchos made a mistake because that will be the next story

Why were they silenced? Who made the call to do that?

If they casually handled the story for a 20 seconds then it wouldn't be a big deal.
Now it will be a big deal and another story that the GE honchos will have to spin.

33. I don't think so
It's obvious why they're mum on the subject. I don't feel like I need it explained. Silence conveys a lot.

They'll say as little as possible until the SEC takes action, if they do at all. If the SEC takes action against Cramer, he'll be history and NBC will move on. That's TV! :D

30. Exactly - Besides
in the bubble of broadcasting, if you ignore it...it will eventually go away.

Not to mention they all work with Cramer - these people are not only co-workers but most likely friends of Cramer and no doubt feel very badly for him today.

32. Yeah, it's a touchy situation
Cramer is one of their talents. He could be in a lot of trouble, so why would they hop on the news train. They'll decide what to do based on what the SEC does. If they ease him out, that'll say plenty.

He was probably told to cut it out as far as back then, so I'm not too surprised he punted tonight.
