Traitor Democrats will be held accountable
Edited on Wed Mar-11-09 03:04 PM by shintao
It appears to me as Democrats try to get Obamas legislation passed we have rebels who are refusing to support the bill. People, this budget is about you and making America a better place for you. After 8 years of neglect where even bridges collapsed and people drown in New Orleans, this one is for you. We need every vote. These deflecting Democrats must be made to know if they do not support this bill they won't be around to support another in their future. It's not like there would not be other future opportunities to pass bills that these rebels want to shove through congress. We have four years.

Obama is asking that we pressure these rebels to get in lock step and get this bill through congress. He has certainly done his part, now it is our turn to support him. Contact these rebels and let them know the grassroot internet folks expect action now, or they will be history for failing the American people. Thank you.

There is a whole bunch to this article - I just grabbed excrepts - the link is there to read it all. :)

“A stronger hand? I mean, I think we’ve done pretty well sticking together on virtually everything,” Reid said. “Now, does that mean a hundred percent will vote? No. But it means 95 percent will.”

At the White House, spokesman Robert Gibbs downplayed the significance of Democratic push back on Obama’s budget, saying it’s all part of doing business in Washington.

“I don’t think ultimately the criticism is surprising,” Gibbs said. “That certainly happens and is all part of the process.”

But behind the scenes, the administration is working to better unify the party behind the president.

Organizing for America, an offshoot of the Democratic National Committee, this week sent a video message by e-mail to Obama campaign supporters asking them to pledge support for the president’s agenda and forward it to friends.

Mobilizing the grass roots could put pressure on lawmakers to support Obama’s initiatives. In a similar vein, last week’s dust-up with radio host Rush Limbaugh was an effort to rev up those same supporters from the campaign.

8. I realize that. One of my emails to him asked the simple question
"what is your relationship with Mr. Stanford?". I got one back that said he was giving all the contributions to charity, and it was a shock, I tell you , a shock to find out Mr. Stanford was a fraud.

Are you in the St. Pete area,FLAprogressive?

You must not be familiar with our system of representative government.

It works like this, a bunch of people get together and elect a representative to go to Washington and... represent THEM. Not to tow the party line.

The elected officials are beholden to those who they are elected to represent and no one else.
