Stephanie Miller makes a joke and the mouth breathers go bat shit
Edited on Sat Mar-07-09 07:04 PM by Botany

Good Lord are "they dumb." She was on Larry King and said that saying something
"over the top" is what Rush does because he thrives on the pub.

MILLER: Nancy, you are right about one thing. We love this episode of Republican. (news busters
forgot to put in the whole quote ..... We love this episode of Republican eating their own.)
It's delightful and it's not solving any of the serious problems that the country is facing. You know
who is it good for? Rush Limbaugh. He loves this attention.

If I could say something tonight that gets me that kind of attention, like maybe Rush Limbaugh should
be executed for treason. How about that?

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2199948/posts?... ;

"If they execute Rush for wanting Obama to fail, to we get to execute all of the liberals who
wanted Bush to fail?" 100% gin - you - whine freeper quote.

both @ news busters & free republic's posts =

1. I heard her reading all the death threats on the air
complete with misspellings, grammatical and punctuation errors and chortling the whole time.

It was high larious.

2. I agree with your characterization of Stephanie Miller but I've read DU posts from many celebrity
worshipers.

IMO, just because a person is a celebrity does not make them an expert on anything outside the skills that led to their celebrity status.

That goes for celebrities who are Democrats and those who are Republicans.

6. Stephanie and her show are funny, bright and well informed. She's not "just a celebrity"
 she's also lived a lot of the history that many -- esp. Dittoheads -- want to send down the memory hole.

12. Steph's show is a comdey news show
She often says that if you are looking to me for answers or smarts
look someplace else. She did finish 1st in her class in high school,
her dad ran for V.P. in 1964, and Keith Olbermann, Jon Stewart, CNN,
and others do listen to her show and pick up stories.

Although she does break out the Al Gore, John Kerry, Frank Rich,
Barbara Boxer, John Conyers, and many other heavy hitters for
real info too.

4. Let's think of other outrageous things Steph could have said. I'll start:
"Rush Limbaugh is one handsome devil."

5. News flash wingnuts:
Nobody on the Left wanted Bush to fail. We just knew he would.

We understood the consequences of Bush failing and they are upon us.

7. Feb. 2003 .... Joe Wilson on N.P.R. rough quote
Iraq has 105 different sects of people and the only thing they have
in common is that they all hate each other .... We can be in Baghdad
in under a week but that is when our real troubles will start. In the
first gulf war we stopped because we knew that to try to govern Iraq
would be a real mess.

very very very rough quote.

bush blew off all the good advice and went w/ his "gut."

14. I wanted Bush to fail.
I wanted his blunder in Iraq to be a miserable failure. I hoped, desperately hoped, that the disaster would drive him from office in 2004. 500,000 Iraqi lives would have been spared.

I wanted Bush to fail so that America and the rest of the world could succeed at living in peace and at working together for a shared sustainable prosperity for all.
