Bush spent more money than any President in history.

All our rights have been stripped under him.

Competition ceased.

And Capitalism that runs amok quickly evolves into Third World Socialized Banana republics.

So who was George W. Bush?????

Our First Socialist Dictator

Soooooooo up yours conservative thugs!!!!!

(But in essence... if you really want to be technical.....It started with Reagan)

1. What on earth are you talking about? That's RW silliness.
Socialism is not totalitarianism. Nazi Germany was not socialist. China was totalitarian as a communist society and now it's just as totalitarian--perhaps more, if that's possible-- as a capitalist market economy. Singapore--the most controlled society in the world--is capitalist. Socialism means that working people dismantle the apparatus of the capitalist state and use the resources and means of production to benefit average people.

It's not about "big government". The capitalist state apparatus is plenty "big."

George Bush is a capitalist, there is not a single thing about him that is "socialist." He has no interest in overthrowing the banksters, the defense industry, and the insurance racket to benefit everyday people.

2. George Bush was not a capitalist. He was a Fascist.
He was gradually changing our system to a totalitarian one. Eavesdropping and internal spying on ordinary people are common practices in dictatorships, in totalitarian societies, and Bush was setting up a structure that would have allowed for those practices.

What I want to know is what Obama is doing to destroy the framework for eavesdropping, internal spying and dictatorship that Bush set up. I question whether Obama has really changed anything thus far. We need to be vigilant with regard to this.

Meanwhile study up on the SS, the KGB and the STASI -- all examples of the means used by governments of different kinds to terrorize dissenters.
