I finally realized who Michael Steel reminds me of.
He looks like an older version of the lead singer for Digital Underground, who sang the Humpty Hump song. Does anybody remember him?? I tried to find a photo to post, but could only find video. I swear, guve gun a big, white fur hat, and hand him an microphone, and he's a dead ringer. His giggle factor has just gone up, by about 10.

3. You betcha - thanks
It was driving me crazy - then, the epithany hit. Must be courtesy of the scotch. Of course, now I have that song, firmly entrenched as an earworm.

except in Steele's case, he's Schlock G doing the Frumpty Frump
(and he really needs to give Hammer back his shoulder pads)

8. Two thingsFirst of all, what makes you so sure it's not him? "Humpty Dance" was
almost 20 years ago. Mr. Steele probably still has the big fur hat on a closet shelf somewhere.

Second...What the hell does "...guve gun a big, white fur hat..." mean? I'm turning it over and over in my head and I can't figure out what "guve gun" means.
