Citing an "independent quantitative analysis" by economist Dr. Anne Layne-Farrar who works for the Law and Economics Consulting Group (LECG), described as a "non-partisan economic consulting group in Chicago".

Non-partisan. That's a good one.

Dr Farrar notes on the first page of the report: "Financial support from The Alliance to Save Main Street Jobs is gratefully acknowledged". Hmmm. Who or what is "The Alliance to Save Main Street Jobs" you ask?:

About the Alliance to Save Main Street Jobs: The Alliance is chaired by HR Policy Association and includes the American Hotel and Lodging Association, the Associated Builders and Contractors, The International Council of Shopping Centers, the Real Estate Roundtable, the Retail Industry Leaders Association and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce

Non-partisan. BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA...

2. As if the economy isn't shedding millions of jobs right now
It's unfortunate that it's so easy to debunk this crapola, but it must be done. Because you know for sure that this "non-partisan" "analysis" will get quoted all over the popular media outlets by overpaid folks who should know better. But because it comports with a certain (shall we say) bias in their corporate board rooms, they won't concern themselves with fact checking.

5. Dr. Layne-Farrar is a biased conservative economist
She speaks on the conservative talk show circuit, most recently on Ed Morrissey's show.:puke:
