Who does he think he is? It's time to put Rush Limbaugh where he...
...belongs...the dust bin of history. (I'm sure we all could think of a few other places, too. :7 )

I had CNN on the other day when they went to full coverage of Limbaugh's speech at CPAC. Almost in a reflexive action, I turned off the TV in disgust. At the time, I was disgusted at CNN for thinking...despite my belief in free speech... that they should broadcast anything Rush has to say. (I have the same reaction to seeing Ann Coulter anywhere.)

This whole CPAC thing just reminds me of where the GOP is, these days. Think about the 'Bush era'...2000 to 2008. His GOP base had three parts...Religious Right/fundamentalists, the military/industrial PNAC ers, and wall street/corporations 'trickle down' economy folks. All three have been proven incompetent.

The only thing they had in common was their cheerleaders (Bush, Limbaugh, Coulter and Hannity). These are the guys that sold Americans these failed policies for the Bush Administration. They did it by making things up, twisting truth, name-calling, and generally behaving like 10 year olds (with body humor, low level behavior). And I apologize to 10 year olds everywhere. :)

Now, the Bush Administration is gone. (YAaay!) The Republican Party, CPAC and Rush have nothing left. Economists have left. The PNAC ers have left. Sane religious folks are leaving. All that remains are the small group that likes what I call 'six-grade jokes.' CPAC seems to want to cater to them. And Rush is their leader. How depressing is that? Now he thinks he has the clout to debate the President. How delusional is that? Not to mention his antics put money (his) first and the country he divides last. The NERVE.

The amazing thing to me is that CNN thinks Limbaugh, Coulter and Hannity are still relevant enough to cover. Explain that one.

4. Pretty much all the cable 'news'...
...outlets are pathetic. Sadly, they seem to be getting worse, not better.

5. That bloated fuck-stick is the best thing we could hope for.
It shows the entire nation, and rest of the world as well, what an utter failure the republican party has become. I say let Rush run the show right into the ground. No one with any fucking brains takes this clown seriously, especially our President. It's laughable to see what complete failures these assholes will turn to for leadership. It puts their "base" clearly into focus.

8. And that is exactly what Obama is doing with this jerk.
In case ya didnt notice!

If you want to destroy Limbaugh, all you have to do is put him in the spotlight.

10. Do you think the GOP has benefitted from all the exposure Rush is getting?
You dont have to hope- it's already happening.

Repubs are all over the tube either apologizing to or distancing themselves from Rush- this works for Obama either way.

If Rush becomes "the face" of the GOP- then we win every moderate.

If a portion of the GOP resists his lardship, then we get to kick back and watch the infighting.

Win-win for DEMS.
