Why can't Franken be seated already?

Why are Republicans trying to ignore the voice of the People?

1. coleman has more money and lawyers who know how to slow everything down.
They know they can't win. But, they are trying their best to drag this out for 6 years. Who knows, maybe they will.

2. and the democratic senate lacks the spine. they are pitiful.
republicans have seated members who truly should never have been and thumbed their noses at the states electoral process.

this state had its recount and franken has won.
despite the whining which will come from the right the democrats should have said enough after the recount and seated him.

i blame it on harry 'give em hell'. he is weak.

3. It's in the courts. Reid doesn't control the courts.

5. Plus Reid doesn't thumb his nose at the courts
like the pukes do. They would seat Coleman and then bitch and moan about activist judges.

I wish Reid were more aggressive with the pukes because I hate them, but not as often as I wish people would quit moaning about how much they dislike him everytime something happens that they don't like.

One thing I would like to see Reid do is change the rules around the fillibuster so the assholes on the right didn't just have to threaten to do it to make it like a fillibuster has already happened.

Kind of like.... If you want to fillibuster you need to have all members ready to speak remain in the chamber throughout while the other party needs only have one member present to read a book while you ramble on. Or something to that effect, it would shut Mitch, the turtle, McConnell up a bit.

Coleman shutters campaign office, sheds spokesman
@ 1:00 pm by Michael O'Brien

Sen. Norm Coleman's (R-Minn.) campaign continued to downsize, losing its top spokesman over the weekend and shutting some campaign offices.

Senior spokesman Mark Drake has left the campaign, Minnesota Public Radio reported Monday, though there was no indication to where Drake would be headed.

Another Coleman spokesman, Luke Friedrich, left the campaign last week to take a job with Rep. Erik Paulsen (R-Minn.).

The campaign also closed its offices this weekend, which it said was because its lease was up...
