He's not really proud of being an Indian American, otherwise he would embrace his given name instead of renaming himself Bobby.

I think that's why he could never unseat Barack, it's the difference between proud of one's differences, and not so ashamed of them you rename yourself.

1. Jindal stands an iceburg's chance in hell of becoming President!
He's just another corporate lackey, no more, no less.

3. And you get this from the fact that when he was 4
he decided he wanted to be called Bobby? I know several people who prefer to be called by something other than their first "legal" name, and I wouldn't presume that they are ashamed of something. Jindel has done many things to ridicule/criticize/infuriate, do we really need to worry about what name he prefers?

5. We all know of this great problem of children watching TV shows and wanting to be named...
Barney or Big Bird. :eyes:

Give me a break. I'm someone who's gone by a different name than my given name, but not because of anything I said, but because other people called me that. Kids don't pick their names. Parents do. Just ask little Adolf Hitler about that one.

6. Oh give me a fucking break!
:eyes:

He's a member of a party who's propaganda establishment just had to retract a cartoon with extremely racist overtones. This is Louisiana we're talking about after all.
