Does this woman have a mirror in her house?

Here it is.... Do you believe it!

Yes, that really is an Asian woman, Michelle Malkin actually posing for a picture with a man displaying a swastika! Apparently, the picture was taken at a GOP rally in Colorado.

When this woman is done killing off all of the minorities, what does she think is going to happen to her when she's the only one left?

I honestly hate to stereotype all minorities who support conservatives. Everyone should have the right to their viewpoint without being typecast into a position based on ethnicity.

But still..... I just don't get it.

I got the story from the Daily Kos. Here is a link to the dairy with the full story.

2. bell hooks -
a radical-feminist black author, uses a term called "internalized racism" - where minorities unconsciously adopt "self-hatred" because, you know, WHITE is the dominant culture. And, in attempt at trying to "be white" themselves, deny every single aspect of their "non-whiteness" and embrace "white supremecy" type attitudes.

Sad, ain't it?

5. I agree with her re "internalized racism" but not necessarily the "self-hatred" part.

It has always seemed to me that oppressed people (women, minorities, gays, etc.) who affiliate with the Right Wing seem to have a surfeit of self-regard. They exult in being "exceptional", and putting down their counterparts. In feminism, we call it Queen Bee Syndrome, where a woman like Phyllis Schlafly arises to a prominent position while doing her damnedest to ensure other women don't get ahead. Are these people insecure? Absolutely. Do they "hate" themselves? I'm not so sure about that.

8. it's never that clearcut
I'm sure some probably do, and some probably don't.

In some cases, I think it's a case of "I'M EXCEPTIONAL" but all those other ______(people who look like me)__________ are sooooooooooo inferior.

3. Smooth move, Michelle.
I get what you are saying about minorities supporting conservatives. If the Right Wing of this country had not been so thoroughly coopted by bigots I could understand a black or gay person being Republican because of economic issues or whatever. But as it is, I cannot for the life of me understand how someone could sit there and listen to people like them being bashed and demonized and not get up and walk out.

I know there are some who will excuse the photo because technically the swastika is meant to criticize Obama. But look at the picture. What do you feel? What sense do you get about the man holding that symbol? I don't understand how even Michelle Malken doesn't see it. If there were no blacks in this country. And if all the hispanics were pushed back across the border. I believe that man would use that swastika as a symbol to rally a mob against her in a second. It's a shame she can't see that.
