chrisTo-Fascists continue to wage war against Michael Schiavo
The following is from an obviously reich-wing source:

Cyberbullies At Topix’s Schiavo Forum May Be Unmasked

The cyberbullying, flaming days of Michael Schiavo and his birds of a feather who have been flying anonymously on the Terri Schiavo forum at Topix may be about over—at least the anonymous part.

A Texas judge has said its time for anonymous Topix posters to be accountable for potentially defamatory, libelous postings against a Texas couple.

And that could soon extend to the posters on the than 1,700 threads which comprise the Terri Schiavo forum.

<snip

The interactive internet news “bulletin board” Topix.com has until March 6 to hand over the identifying details of over 170 commenters who allegedly posted defamatory and libelous comments about a Texas couple who were acquitted at trial of sexual assault charges.

<snip>

Following a recent Internal Affairs investigation conducted by the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Department, it has been determined that Michael Schiavo, the man who killed his former wife, Terri Schindler Schiavo, by dehydration, claiming that she would want to die in such an inhumane manner because she was incapacitated, has been using taxpayer-owned sheriff’s department resources and taxpayer time to engage in public attacks on the Schindler family and others involved in the Schiavo case, in essence, defrauding the taxpayers.

2. I don't think this is a good idea. I'm sympathetic to Michael Schiavo but

The slippery slope is too dangerous. The right is desperate to bring down the internet. We need to be extremely careful about what we do.

The "three strikes" law that got passed in California has caused havoc in the courts. It was just for child molesters now it's affecting everything. It's an example of how good intentions can be used by the right for their own secret agendas.

Be careful.
