If they are against it then perhaps there districts shouldn't get the $$? Since they think it is a bad bill.

1. Sarah Palin and my sucky new 'Democratic' Senator Begich were 'against' it
but they still thought Alaska should get some of the money :wtf: This is possibly the most wealthy state in the nation. Who ARE these people?

5. I thought Mark is for it but Lisa is against it.
According to this in the Anchorage Daily News today: http://www.adn.com/front/story/689075.html

Both Murkowski and her Democratic counterpart, Sen. Mark Begich, attended meetings of Senate centrists, who worked to craft a compromise bill that satisfied conservative Democrats and more moderate Republicans. Begich, who asked mayors and other civic leaders in Alaska to submit projects they'd like to see funded in the infrastructure portion of the bill, intends to vote for the proposal.

So it seems he was in the "watering down" committee, but he's clearly going to vote for it.

4. Our democratic district was gerrymandered by republicans. Go ahead, punish us.
We used to be realiably Democratic. Then Reagan's minions redrew weird boundaries, and rural votes now overwhelm our urban votes. Cathy McMorris is the result.

Go ahead. Punish us, even though many of us Democrats worked our tails off to elect a Democratic Governor, two senators, etc. You'll just make sure that Democrats never, ever take this district.

Sounds like a good way to grow a long lasting majority.

Vote for us or you'll starve! And even if 49.99% of you did vote for us, fuck you anyway.

8. What about the people in those districts that did not vote
for their rep? Should they be punished too?
