According To Russian Newspaper: US To Bomb Iran On 4/6/07 at 6:00am to 4pm
(cannot vouch for source - but thought it was interesting - kpete)

The USA will shoot on April 6

A Russian newspaper has claimed that the USA will shoot Iranian nuclear facilities and the bombardment will last 10 hours.

Many politicians, diplomats and journalists have mentioned the possibility of US military intervention in Iran to stop its nuclear program. The US government has implied supporting this option by saying "every option is on the table." A weekly newspaper in Russia has even gone so far as to announce the date and even the hour of the war. According to the Argominti Nidili newspaper, the USA will bomb Iran's nuclear facilities on April 6th in the morning from 6 a.m to 4 p.m.

* wants this war with Iran...he is putting our soldiars in Iran in further peril....

Whether other Middle East countries support or denounce Iran...if the US bombs Iran the entire Middle East will make it their mission to destroy the US.....

* will have to implement the draft....and I guess that's what it's going to take for America to get rid of it's first "Wanna be Dictator"!

The draft coming back has been in the works for a few years. Have a friend who filled out the papers to be on the draft board in his state two years ago. Oh, and he didn't do this because he believes in the draft, he did it to have some say in the matter.

13. I'm not sure the entire ME will make it their mission to destroy us -
I cannot understand Saudi Arabia. Would Jordan join? Pakistan? I'm not sure.

These monsters travelled all over the ME - meeting with their leaders - what did they arrange for us to suffer? For suffer is what they want from us.

Nuke for an hour, serve with a side of scrambled planet.

24. Actually, it's Good Friday and Passover week.
I can't recall offhand, but isn't Passover one week long? This year, it begins at sundown, April 2, which would make April 6 the fourth day of Passover, along with Good Friday.

BTW, the paper said 6am, but did they say which time zone that would be?

53. Passover is not a factor. It is 1 day long, beginning at sundown
on the 2nd this year, ending sundown on the 3rd.

Passover was disconnected from Easter centuries ago - the church didn't like the Jewish taint on their holy day.

52. Wouldn't That Be Passover, Too?
I thought that the whole connection between Judaism and Christianity was rooted around the fact that Christ went to Jerusalem for Passover and was killed on Good Friday, two days before Easter. That would make Passover Friday night and Saturday, right?

I would love to shrug this off and laugh. More and more, as the usual suspects continue to circle the wagons, they have continued to cut off their avenues of retreat. Gonzo is STILL insisting he's done nothing wrong, even though it is a sure bet that he'll be caught out...

GW is planning to veto a defense spending bill that has timetable language in it...

If the new ISG is feeding them encouragement, I can't bring myself to write this off as nonsense.

When has the fact that something is a sure-fire, unmitigated disaster ever deterred this crowd?

Someone posted another Russian source yesterday. I would not take it the report lightheartedly, given the naval war build up near the Persian Gulf. Now there are several carriers around there, including a French one, not row boats rowing gently down the stream, aircraft carriers loaded with nuclear bombs! This about that.

Look at how Iraq turned out because people took it either lightly or wanted the damn war .

I know we do have carrier groups fully armed in the gulf and this is certainly not a joke .

I do know the US as well as Israel has been beating this war drum for over a year now and this does continue .

I worry since the house will be off for the holiday that this could very well be the time they make their move .

As everyone else , I hope I am wrong but it is still quite alarming stuff . Lets not become de-sensitized like we seem to have become about the violence we see in movies that many years ago would have shocked us to no end .

48. Reporter: U.S. planning Iran bombs
(CNN International, February 26, 2007)

(Seymour) Hersh pointed to Vice President Dick Cheney's comments last week in Australia, where he said "all options are on the table" regarding Iran. Though such talk may amount to nothing more than "agitprop, propaganda," Hersh said, "Inside the military, they are planning very seriously, at the president's request, to attack Iran."

Hersh, who has covered the issue for years, said movement toward an incursion appears to be ratcheting up. He predicted that Bush, whose second term ends in January 2009, "is not going to leave office without doing something about Iran."

56. Tactically, it makes sense.
It's the day before the holiest day in Christendom, therefore unexpected by the Iranian regime that is itself of a religious mindset. It is on their sabbath, so it will limit the amount of collateral damage to workers at the target sites, while taking out the sites themselves - gotta have that so we can say we're the good guys. Being their sabbath also slows their response time - look at Pearl Harbor.

make sure you tuned for such spine tingling moments as...

Moron*: I don't think anyone anticipated this attack...

head guy in Iran: we have countless bodies everywhere...

Gates: we believe this was an effective strike with minimal collateral damage...

Iraqi Imam: the U.S. will now feel the full wrath of the Islamic world...

abu gonsalez(if he's still AG): this was within the powers of the president to protect the U.S. against the threat of a nuclear armed Iran...

How can you possibly not watch??

Make sure you stay tuned for our follow up report: How the world went to shit under GWB*'s watch!!!
