So, they doubled their income, did they?
According to Raw Story, "Income of 400 richest Americans doubled during Bush era".

http://rawstory.com/news/2008/Richest_Americans_income_doubled_during_Bush_0131.html

Like this is a surprise? So here's my idea: we take these 400 richest Americans, ship them off to Guantanamo, take all their money and distribute it to the rest of America. Viola! No more recession!

OK, so I'm in a pissy mood this morning.

1. Warren Buffet doesn't seem like a guy who should be in Gitmo
Maybe there is something I don't know about him.

4. I guess I'll have to label my snark a little more carefully
and I don't think my lame little attempt holds a candle to what the right is capable of spewing. :)

6. The figures in the article are for 2006 earnings, they won't even admit
....what they made during 2008. For that we'll have to wait until January 2011.

<snip>
The 400 richest U.S. taxpayers in 2006 paid slightly more than $18 billion in U.S. government income taxes in 2006 -- an average of $45 million -- on a record $105 billion in total income.
