Walmart's latest scam
For any of you that have a Walmart credit card, check your account immediately, especially if you pay online. If you pay online, Walmart is not processing your payment and then they charge you a late charge. When you call them, they take off the late charge, but I'm sure that many people just pay it, and chalk it up to their having forgotten to make the payment.

6. History feature
Can't you go back into your web site history feature and see what time you were at the site? Google's Chrome gives you that information by day--not sure about time.

Then go back with this information and ask that the charge be removed.

7. Had similar problem with sears
Sears changes your due date, so when I received my bill I thought I had the same time as the last due date, but instead they made it two weeks earlier than the last time I purchased from them. They hit me with a late fee, and when I called they did take it off, but gave me some song and dance about why they do that. I have been watching my bills from them since then and they still do it, change the days. Also have had problems i the past with other cards, but calling them has always gotten any charges removed.

10. Sears card is not owned by Sears

Big mistake for them to loose control of the name on the card.

12. Yeah, it's CITI....
and I just got a notice that states they're raising the rate to "prime + 17.99%". My current rate is about 12.5%.

Geez, I wonder what's going on? :sarcasm:

9. I am the source.
It just happened to me. Apparently, judging from the replies to this post, other companies have done it as well. Luckily, I keep very good records of how much and when I pay my credit cards.

11. Walmart once again eats
another little piece of America. I would be very suprised if some currency exchanges didn't go out of business from this. They get bigger and we get smaller. Walmart is leading in companies that are to large for anyones good but their own. Lets hear it for Mom and Pop shops and bringing back unions yes unions.
