4. I've told this story before but think it's worth repeating

My cousin, who could only walk with the help of crutches, fell in a smarmy restroom in mid-California. As he lay in the muck, unable to reach his crutches, a pair of cowboy boots came in and stood over him. "Somebody ought to help this guy," the boots said and then walked out without helping him. My cousin thought, now there's a compassionate conservative.
