2. this is the reason for asking how many jobs the tax cuts
have created. Just show one example of the * tax cuts creating 55 jobs in a single company, that's what the pukes should be hearing on the floor of our government buildings.

3. My new tinfoil hat theory
Tell me if this sounds crazy:

Is it possible that many (or at least some) of these companies deliberately postponed their job cuts until after Obama took office, in order to make him look bad? And maybe to punish Americans for voting against Republicans?

In my experience, companies like to lay people off around Christmas. Supposedly this is to clear the books for the new year and to avoid having to send out W-2 forms for these people the following January. My husband got laid off two days before Christmas, although he now has a new job.

Yet we've seen a flood of layoffs like never before, just in the past week or so.

4. Hadn't thought about it, but you have a point
On the other hand, if holiday sales had rebounded in an Obama-inspired jump in consumer confidence, would we be seeing these layoffs?
