Geez....just when I thought it was safe to come out and bask in a ray of hope, I heard this blahblahblah coming from the sidelines. It was as though neocons embedded some kind of blah-blah message onto conveyor belts hooked up to every cable anchor`s mouthpiece. And what do you know? There`s Eric Cantor elbowing his way to the front of the line so he can offer a fake smile to match his fake plan. Eric Cantor, the guy Mitch McConnell uses as a salt shaker for each and every open wound.

Where were these town criers when all those folks were floating through the streets of the Ninth Ward? Where were they when bedridden soldiers were looking up at rotting ceiling tiles at Walter Reed? Where were they when the Donald Trumps and the Bernie Madoffs were raking in their tax cuts?Where were they when Karl Rove turned the Department of Justice into a subsidiary of the RNC? That`s what I thought....golfing.

I think I`ve heard about enough from this crew. If they have so much free time on their hands, maybe they`d like to go to a VA hospital and carry lunch trays for some of our amputees.
