The Repubs are geared for blockage and inactivity. Obama and his administration are going to move so fast on so many things, and maintain the inertia, to such a degree that it is going to make the opposition's heads spin. No way they can keep up, never mind fully understand (with their little pea brains) any of what is going on before them.

Leave them in the dust!

1. So you'd call for a "Scorched Brush" policy?

2. I'd like to know how their time was spent ...
... 20% clearing brush, 20% obstructing justice, 20% proselytizing, 40% shredding the Constitution.

7. I think that "clearing brush"
is actually code for "clearing out the Treasury"

4. Mentioned to Havocdad that the GOP obstructionists on the Hill are stunned and confused
They are used to a pResident who takes orders, same as them. A President who is a leader confounds the bejangles outta them. They will try to stop him just because leadership is such an alien concept to their little sheep brains.

6. Hence, their current idiotic,
recalcitrant behavior. Those old white guys are gonna show this New Kid In Town who's boss, and teach him a lesson in How Things Work In Washington.

And PRESIDENT OBAMA will hand them their collective sorry asses on a platter before they even know he was in motion.

11. Yep. Obama starts wisely by being gracious. When they balk, the trap snaps on their wee heads
He can point and say, 'Hey, I TRIED meeting you part way...'

Newt's School of Parrot Politicians has been shut down! :woohoo:

9. I hope you're right....but I'm doubtful.
Repubs are pretty quick to defend their territory. You know, women's rights, gay rights, poor people's rights. They feel the need to prevent any of those things from actually happening, so they respond quickly on those.

God tells them to.

12. The republicans weren't doing nothing, they were very busy little beavers
Lining your pockets and the pockets of all your friends before the entire pyramid scheme collapses is a lot of work.

13. The trick is to jump from one issue to the next faster than they can erect blockaids
And any place they do forme what appears to be an effective block just focus our considerable resources on that point. Smash them like flys on the screen door.
