He has nothing to offer them anymore and nothing they want. They didn't want him in the 2008 campaign and they don't want him now. They want him to go away. We would be smart to create venues for him and keep him in the public eye. Who knows what he might let slip?

Where once I would have cheered Bush's departure with delirious joy, at the actual event I was just numb and thankful. His last term seemed like 8 years by itself, but he's finally gone.
