Freepers Caption Obama at Desk in Oval Office
Assholes! The posts run the gamut from racism to simple childishness. One poster, only, objects to this nonsense. An epic fail on the part of FR and its moronic members. Sorry about the link to that noxious site, but some will want to see this.

3. They have nothing...
So, naturally, being the pea-brains that they are, they have proceeded to expand on that nothing.

They sure aren't used to someone taking off their jacket, rolling up their sleeves, and doing some actual work. I suspect this is leading to a large portion of this confusion.

6. Pretty funny to read the criticism of the decor - it's all W.'s
I would have ripped every shred of whatever W. put in there, and the taxpayers of this nation would be glad to pay for it. I think it's a mistake to keep W's "decor."

That said, it's pretty funny to read the Freeper ignoramuses criticizing the decor.

8. okay, but they ARE yellow brocade curtains
:P

Her dress looked much better, and thank god they're too stupid to quote "Went With The Wind" from the Carol Burnett show. Oh-I-forgot - that's librool hollywood thing. I saw it in the window and just had to have it!

I'd like to propose an exercise: caption any freeper's thoughts captioning the white house pic.

Let me start:

"can you believe the librools are in charge now? they might make it illegal to beat your wife too often."

"dollar bills are all gonna start saying in allah we trust now that the muslimistas are in the oval office"

or better yet:

16. Maybe not quite what you're looking for, but...
here's something I wrote a month ago making fun of a racist wingnut on Topix who made up ridiculous shit about Obama like his father being Malcolm X. I'm surprised he didn't accuse Obama of crucifying Christ.

"I have proof that Obama masterminded 9/11, piloted all 4 planes, and planted explosives in the WTC to make it look like an inside job! In fact, Obama founded both Al-Qaeda and the religion of Islam! Obama was the 2nd gunman on the grassy knoll! Obama killed 6 million Jews with his bare hands! Obama made the South lose the Civil War! Obama killed the dinosaurs! Obama told Eve to eat the forbidden fruit! Obama is secretly the leader of the aliens from Independence Day! it's Obama's fault I have erectile disfunction! Is there no end to the horror this evil ni...I mean, Muslim, has perpetrated on the world?"

9. I dunno, I kind of like this one...

"Hello? Is your refrigerator running? Well, you'd better catch it!"

But then I kind of like absurdist humor and the idea of a President crank-calling from the oval office fits that bill pretty well.

32. There was an episode of the West WIng
Where President Bartlet called the Butterball hotline and had to pretend to be someone else.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4TcGEcKjSu4 (the really good part starts at around 1:30)

The first time I saw it, I didn't stop laughing until the end of the episode.

26. That is typical of repukes - they are stuck on the perks, not the job
There was a story where Poppy told Dimson to never go into that office without his tie - so as to show respect for that office. Never occurs to the effers that their shredding of the Constitution was disrespect for that office.

22. I like the one that is concerned because Obama doesn't have pictures of his wife and kids on the des
desk yet.

As if less than a day into his job, his first priority, given we are in the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression and are stuck in 2 wars, should have been to take a couple days to unpack his crap and decorate his office.

Granted, I'm sure that's what Shrubby did. Put down a putting cup, sharpened all the pencils in his desk, cancelled a national security briefing about some dumbass A-rab that wanted to attack the US so he could put his wife's picture on his desk, etc.

29. Ronald Regan never took off his jacket and tie... for two reasons.
A. Mommy told him not to.
B. He didn't know how to anyway.

I guess the Freeps are not used to someone actually being at their desk working. Perhaps they thought being president involved clearing brush on the ranch for about 70% of your first 6 months in office?

To: awakened
Well, it was nice knowin' ya. If we offend, frankly, too bad. These people have been taking horrific potshots at President Bush for 8 years...calling him a war criminal, painting him up as Hitler, mocking him 24-7, not to mention the crucifixion they did on Palin (and McCain) during the campaign. And don't you worry...just because he's out of office, that won't stop the continuation of their vile onslaught of venom. It will continue ad nauseum.

The biggest problem we have as conservatives is we're too 'nice'. The SCOTUS doesn't want to address the BC issue because they're afraid of the riots from the democrats; and they know good and well we conservatives will complain, but we are too 'nice' to take it to the streets. So we (and our rights) get trampled on. Sorry, but we've got to start playing dirty. That above-the-fray crap didn't work for the past 8 years. I say, the gloves are off.
