I just turned my flags right side up.

First "real" thing I am doing this AM; I just reached up and turned the flag on my wall above my desk (where I have done most everything I do for election reform) right side up. That flag had hung there upside down since the dark days of the Ohio Recount. Man, it was dusty.

Then I changed my avatar from "upside down flag" to "flag2".

It's a new day.

Yes absolutely we must press onward for voter-verified paper ballots and statistically significant audits of all elections. (No party can count on the clear winner of an election being 12 points ahead in 2012 or beyond.) We need healthcare -- single payer healthcare for all.

We can't afford NOT to do these things.

But it is a new day.
