Memory lane: The Hillary VS Obama civil war in DU. McCain, then McCain and Palin. The "Obama should have picked Hillary" days. The pitbull with lipstick. The debates. The crazy with hate GOP rallies. The 'get out the vote' carpools. The backwards B girl. The never ending polls! The tension building towards November 4th. It's all over.

1. "We will NEVER win an election with electronic voting machines so no other issue matters!"
Oh man that stuff was endless.

Then there was "Senators don't get elected" or "Americans will never vote for a black President! Beware the Bradley effect!" or "Obama has no substance."

Now its "Obama appointed someone I don't like so he's going to be a conservative for the next four years!"

Different day. Same shit.

2. Local elections are still vulnerable.
Hell, they still haven't decided when to let SENATOR AL FRANKEN come to Washington!

4. Sure, but obviously
some people got carried away and exaggerated. It happens a lot around here.

3. Man, those days of poll obsession were almost enough to give me a heart attack
LOL. I remember obsessing over polls, every point drop and rise a source of hope and fear. Wow. What an intense election this was. There was so much at stake. If McCain had managed to pull off a victory, I really don't know what I'd be doing right now. I shudder to even think about it. Fortunately, I don't have to. That's one nightmare that never came to pass.
