| 3. Not. Even. A. Single. Arrest. All. Day. |
The D.C. police have reported extraordinarily well-behaved citizens celebrating the return of a nation to the "rule of law" instead of the "rule of men."

| 7. Yup. Andrea Mitchell just again made note of that (with some surprise, of course). |
It was a magnificent start.

| A great job was done to keep Obama safe |
I know that everyone including all DU'ers were worried about the safety of Obama, his family, and the crowds. So,I want to thank all law enforcement agencies from across the country for helping federal agencies ensure that this joyous event was not disrupted by any violent acts of hate. I am confident in the Secret Service's ability to keep Obama safe everywhere he travels.

| 8. Amen to that. I was so scared when he got out of the car. |
My mom and I were talking on the phone when he got out of the car the first time, and Mom went into a mild panic attack. We kept wondering why the Secret Service weren't just a wee bit closer, but I felt better when I saw how on they were, eyes constantly scanning, and extremely alert. Keep him safe, boys, keep him safe.
